The View is in the grounds of our family home and was totally refurbished in 2021. Attention to detail has been given to it’s interior to make your stay as comfortable as possible and to make you feel at home.

There is a non refundable deposit of 30% paid at the time of booking. The balance is due 42 days before your holiday.

The View caters for a maximum of two adults , children or babies of any age are not permitted. Occupation must be limited to two adults only. Under no circumstances may you invite guests into the property or grounds. 

We are unable to accommodate your pets (animals of any kind) within The View.

In accordance with Scottish law, smoking or vaping is strictly prohibited inside the property.  

Outdoor equipment i.e. bikes, skis, hiking and climbing gear, golf clubs etc are not permitted inside The View. Please ask; anything very dirty or large can be stored securely for you.

You should make every effort to keep the property, fixtures and fittings and all contents in the same state of repair and condition as at the start of your holiday. Damage or breakages should be reported so that we can replace for our next guests. Major items damaged or broken will be charged to you. However we know accidents happen therfor minor breakages will not be charged. We retain the right to make an additional charge for cleaning should the property not be left in a similar condition to when you arrived.

The property owner takes no responsibility for the personal possessions of the holidaymaker or the holidaymaker’s party. Vehicles and possessions are left entirely at the risk of the holidaymaker

Charging your vehicle from our electricity supply is not permitted. There are EV points locally.

We would like to make you aware we have security cameras on our property and one of those faces the parking area of The View. One also faces the gate at the top of the drive. 

Cancellations

• The 30% deposit is non refundable.
• If the booking is cancelled 42 days or less before arrival then a charge equal to the full booking amount will be made.
• In the case of a no-show, then a charge equal to the full booking amount will be made.
• If we resell your dates you will be refunded your money less an admin fee.

We recommend that you have suitable travel insurance.

If we  need to cancel your reservation, we will notify you as soon as practicably possible. We will not be responsible for any losses or increased expenditure incurred by you in securing alternative accommodation elsewhere.

We reserve the right to refuse entry to The View to anyone at our discretion.
